Please read the following conditions and complete the application form.

The following conditions apply to all Grants:

  • The project must be in Ireland.

  • Any grant is given at the absolute discretion of the Council and Committee of Management of the Civil Service Charities Fund. The issue of the application form does not imply that a grant will be made.

  • The Council and Committee of Management reserve the right to withhold payment of any grant, or to cancel any grant or any part of any grant made.

  • The Council or Committee of Management may make all reasonable inquires about the applicant.

  • The applicant, if a grant is made, will provide the Committee of Management with such reports on the progress of the project and the expenditure of the grant as it may from time to time require.

  • Completed applications forms should be sent to:
  • The Secretary, Civil Service Charities Fund, 30 Merrion Sq., Dublin2 Phone/Fax-01-6612381
    Email: generalstaffpanel@eircom.net

Please note the Committee of Management meet quarterly to adjudicate on applications received.

Special Notice to Applicants

Due to the increase in applications for funding and the decline in the Fund’s income from
member’s subscriptions, the Board of the Fund has been forced to take a more conservative stance in the assessment of all new applications and the payment of grants.

Unfortunately, the amount of individual grants will have to be reduced and some applications may have to be refused in order to ensure that funding is available for the most pressing causes. Successful Applicants will usually be required to leave a gap of three years between the payment of a grant and their next application to the Fund.

Please also note that funding may only be granted to projects within the Republic of Ireland.
